WARNING PLEASE READ Please don’t purchase from this company If I could give 0 stars I would I was sold a white bmw 1 series that arrived with me on the 30/01/23 that wasn’t road worthy or fit for purpose. The first problem that happened was the V5 was invalid so I couldn’t tax the car I tried driving the car to the postoffice first I noticed a light on the dashboard, which looked like an oil light. I contacted the garage and was told the car was full of oil and was nothing to worry about. I drove the car to the post office and it shortly broke down, jolting into the road with oncoming drivers, putting my life in danger. Luckily, there was a garage nearby an asked them to run a diagnostics test. I was informed shortly later, there’s no oil pressure no oil going round the engine no coolant was being held In total 23 problems with the car was found. I was advised to send the car back immediately due to it being unfit for purpose, the diagnostics report confirmed this car had these pre-existing problems on the car and they had been reset by a computer. I was told the car ignition had approximately been restarted 40 times since problems have been wiped. I’ve been told that the miles on the engine aren’t correct and have been altered. I’ve also been informed that the car wouldn’t have passed an mot even though magically it has a new one .I spoke to Jack, I think he’s name is I was told he was on holiday and someone would contact me at 2 o’clock to help me . A lady called Sarah rang me she informed me that their pick up driver had been in a collision with my old vehicle on the back so I couldn’t have my car back . I asked to cancel my contract with them and for them to arrange collection of there faulty car & a full refund for the value of my car & the extra money I paid .I’m afraid all this started On the 31/01/23 and I’m yet to receive any help from Thames Valley motors to resolve the problems. I have contacted them every single day and not got anywhere. I have explained that I need their help desperately as I live in the countryside and I have no other transport and no other way of getting my child to school but they are not interested in putting things right I’ve had to seek legal advice. I am extremely upset and disappointed that a company could treat somebody in this way it’s caused a lot of upset and distress. I even asked them from the bottom of my heart to put things right and they really don’t care . please do not use this company I would never want anybody to experience what I have.

Buying a car 250miles away

Having found the very vehicle that I had been looking for some 250miles from my home. I contacted Thames Valley Motors enquiring about the car, the guys were very helpful indeed, and I felt confident with what they told me about the car. Unsolicited they even sent me a video showing all aspects of the vehicle inside and out, even pointing out some age related paint blemishes. It was a seamless transaction in obtaining the car, which included delivery which was done by a very polite young man. Based on my experience I definitely recommend Thames Valley Motors as the go-2 second hand car dealers, no matter where in the country you might be!
