We stumbled across this pub by chance and I'm glad we did. A beautiful building with a very traditional interior. The lunchtime menu had sandwiches and baked potatoes. But we fancied something a bit more substantial and went for the lasagne. When it arrived it was huge and served with chips and a large green salad. The lasagne was homemade and lovel, the salad was crisp and fresh and the chips were great. After such a big portion we didn't manage dessert! Very resonable prices and landlord very friendly.Whilst there we noticed that the pub puts on many special themed evenings which may be worth a try. Coming up in September and October are pie nights and a Morroccan evening.
