Not what you expect

High hopes were dashed as small things were not in place. Not acknowledged upon entry. Paper napkins, not material. Food overcooked chickn,lamb and prawns. Told staff and not a sincere apology in sight and was told that was how the owner liked it . He is not paying for his dinner ans I am so I think my opinion is important! Prawns over cooked and chewy. Mushroom rice was ordered and was the plainest rice we have ever eaten. Sagg aloo and potatoes were very plain starters were laced in chilli everything tasted the same didn't seem fresh or made to order almost pre made. Lighting very low and makes it difficult to read menu. We eat out an awfull lot and unfortunately this is the worst indian ever. Illudes to being super as it's "trendy" but we feel food and service was the poorest so far. Fine dining is our cup of tea and this was highly recommened but very disappointed and would NOT recommend if your a fan of indian food!
