The golden farmer is a bit of a locals pub. Although a local i always felt a bit out of place when i went there - probably because i didnt go there often enough. The beer is perfectly fine and there is a pool table and darts board. There are two bar rooms, and some outside seating next to the car park. The decor isnt very new and is fairly minimal but there are some comfortable seats in the lounge bar (the pool bar doesnt have seats or a carpet.) The people running the pub are lovely and friendly enough though it can take a while to get served if its busy. If I had known more of the regulars it probably wouldnt have felt such an intimidating place to walk into. The golden farmer would not be my first choice of pub in bracknell.
