Good Chai Latte!
Frescoes is a good place for a coffee, light lunch or a snack and I think is the only place in Bedford where you can get a Chai Latte (my current favourite!). It's relaxed and friendly and has a little outdoor area which is a nice place to sit on a sunny day. It has all the usual selection of coffees and also does some smoothies and other cold drinks, although I think it would be nice if they had a wider selection of these. They offer quite a variety of lunch options and the prices are pretty reasonable. I would recommend it.
