About Us

Welcome to Dovart Pet Supplies and Boarding Kennels. Established in 1986 we are a friendly, family run business that pride ourselves on our service. We have friendly qualified staff who can offer nutritional and health advice for all of your pets.

Having bred Warrenways German Shepherds for over 30 years we can help you with many aspects of day to day animal husbandry and with a wide range of pet foods and accessories available you will be pleasantly surprised that we can offer something for all pets.

Our Services

If you need to board your dog then Dovart boarding kennels offers the perfect getaway, you will be able to relax in the knowledge that your dog has been left in licensed secure kennels under the care of a member of our qualified experienced team.

Located near Ampthill Park on the A507 between Millbrook and Ampthill Bedfordshire we are in easy reach of the M1 (click here for additional contact information)

Due to our extensive list of suppliers we are able to provide an efficient ordering service, being able to source most items quickly (if not already in stock!) This way you will always have the best possible choice.

We pride ourselves on our service and friendly, nutritionally qualified staff. As we are a small business we put the customer first offering fantastic prices and helpful advice.

We also provide a local home delivery service please call for details or feel free to pop in to take a look around you will be pleasantly surprised in our “Aladdin's Cave".

Our Kennels

We also provide a professional boarding kennels so you can leave your dog with experienced staff, knowing he or she is in safe hands. Heated kennels (If Appropriate), individual covered runs, private grass field for ‘On-Lead' exercise, individual diets catered for, luxury block available (subject to acceptance), inspection welcome (during kennel opening hours) and fully vaccinated dogs only.

Catering well during Covid-19 with an excellent collection service from our car park, where staff wait on you hand and foot keeping social distancing rules applied in a clear and special way.
Call before you come or pop along and you can ring from the car to place your order if you wish not to get out until you need to (01525 402796).

We are superbly stocked and offer all sorts from raw feeds and treats including Natures Menu, Natural Instinct, Nutriment, Benyfit Natural & Cotswold sausages plus complete dry premium foods inc. Barking Heads & Meowing Heads, Symply, Canagan, True Instinct, James Wellbeloved, Royal Canin, Arden Grange and also other foods from Burgess, Skinners, Chudleys, Autarky, Dr. Johns, Chappie, Butchers, Whiskas, Felix and many many more. Wet foods include Naturediet, Natures Menu, Forthglade, Natures Harvest.....the lists go on!! and we've not even started on the treats!! Need natural....no problem!
We can also order in many items within often a few days, from one of our many suppliers; whilst always offering to be extremely competitive price wise.
It's not only Dogs and Cats we cater for though, oh no! We have feed and accessories for Rabbits, Guinea Pigs, Hamsters and the myriad of little fur-babies you have keeping you company; ranging from Burgess Excel and other foods, to a variety of hay types to keep them all in peak health.
We also stock extensive ranges of feed and supplies for Wild Birds with brilliant prices and many different bag size options to suit your needs.
Poultry feed is also something we have now stocked for many, many years and so we can help you with your Chickens, Quail and Ducks too.
Not forgetting your pond and aquarium Fish, along with Hedgehogs and Reptiles and again we can order in many things if you require something we don't already have.
We can then order feeds for many types of other animal not listed, so always worth an ask!
