At John Titcombe we specialise in making your wedding and engagement ring purchase a relaxed and informative experience. Take a seat in our comfortable and discreet surroundings (for those wanting to keep the proposal secret) and enjoy the experience with a coffee, a glass of bubbly or an Italian beer. You can choose from the many rings that are kept in stock at any time or if you would like to put together a more bespoke piece of jewellery that requires the skills of our workshop team , we can talk over your ideas and create a unique piece for you. We are able to produce in any precious metal including Fairtrade Fairmined Gold. John Titcombe trained at the 200 year Birmingham School of Jewellery and Silversmith. Upon finishing his training he joined a small firm in Bath managing their workshop at 19. After a decade he decided to start his own manufacturing company based in his home city of Birmingham, on Vyse Street in the heart of the 'Jewellery Quarter' trading under the name of Anvers. The inspiration of this name came from the many trips John had made to Antwerp, the diamond capital of the world. Anvers is 'Flemish' for Antwerp.

My husband purchased my bespoke engagement ring from John Titcombe and we were over the moon with the service. However, when we went to purchase our wedding rings we found the exact same ring £500 cheaper elsewhere. I asked JT to reconsider their price but they would not, quite a mark up. Plus when we came to insure the rings they did not communicate with the insurer as discussed, causing quite a few problems. Given that we recommended them to a lot of friends, and they made a lot of money out of us it was a little disappointing.
