Voted top 10 restaurants in the UK and the best in the South West by the Cobra Good Curry Guide. The Eastern Eye serves a comprehensive selection of traditional Indian dishes in a beautiful Georgian building with an incredible triple-domed ceiling. The cuisine is far above your average curry house fare. Firmly established since 1984 this consistently award winning unique and magnificent Indian restaurant ably demonstrates why it's still all the Raj with the city’s diners. Bath Spa Railway Station
This is a good choice for a well presented dinner, but still with affordable prices. The venue is nicely decorated to give a high-class feel, and the service is good too. One concern though - I noticed that patrons' left-over dip is re-used, which is unusual for a restaurant in this price bracket.

This place in legendary. The food can't be faulted. They do a fantastic value set lunch for around £6 or £7. The Dhansak stands out in my mind. This restaurant is housed in a very imposing Georgian building with very high ceilings and lots of period detail. The service is hit or miss depending on whether it's lunch or dinner.

The meal and service were exceptional! The waiters knew alot about the food and could easily make recommendations based on your taste. I highly recommend the dhal soup as a starter.
