Brilliant venue for a party
Held a party here last week for around 70 people. Katherine, the owner couldn't have been more helpful. We wanted to provide the music and sound system and she was very accommodating and said we could collect it the next day. She greeted us with a bottle of Prosecco 'on the house'.The food was freshly cooked and my 'foodie' friends thought it was excellent; the staff were friendly -I had lots of water with ice and lemon - for no charge.The drinks were reasonable and the venue great for dancing. I'll be going back for my next party!

Excellent venue, food and organisation
My experience couldnt be further from the above. Pricing was similar and we organised our own DJ though they did offer. The venue was excellent, the staff brilliant and the food cooked there and then by the owner at the party was top notch. Everyone had an excellent time (it was very boozy, a little rowdy but nothing too outrageous) and everyone has since commented on what a great night they had and how they will all consider the venue in future for parties. I certainly wouldnt hesitate to use it again or to recommend it for a top evening. The owner was brilliant with us and extremely friendly. Not sure if a change since the person previously reviewed used it as couldnt be much more different!

Don't expect a warm welcome!
Booked this place for a birthday party. Owner wanted 450 quid for a DJ and a buffet! We offered 300 and she said ok . Called a few times to see how things were going but 3 days before party my partner is in tears because the owner says she hasn't got a DJ but will play a few CD's. We hire a DJ but the owner says we can't use her speakers so we hire a DJ & all the equipment. Friends set up the DJ gear before the party. While there they ordered two drinks of water. The barman said on the house, the owner said they had to pay! We get served what looks like some leftovers from lunch. She actually wanted us to remove all the DJ gear straight after the party, until we pointed out that everyone had been drinking from her bar and couldn't drive. Collected the gear next morning and she had used OUR flowers to decorate her tables! If you want a basic snack in town, ok. But for a celebration of any sort, stay well away from this place.
