Why we exist

We created the Quotiva Network to fix a mis-match in the insurance market. From our work over the years developing online insurance quote systems we noticed that customers weren't finding providers.

Somewhere in the country there's a client trying to insure something that isn't a normal private car, house, pet or holiday. Somewhere else there's a broker who specialises in exactly what he needs. This broker has been doing this particular business his whole life and knows exactly how to assess a good risk when he sees it. Underwriters trust his judgement and give him great rates as a result.

Our job is to connect the two parties.

Who are we

We're a small team with a big technology and a long history in the insurance business. We're FSA Authorised and Regulated and registered under the Data Protection Act, all of which means we the strict policies we follow are not only business sensible, but the law (look for those two statements on any financial services site)!

We're based in Henley on Thames, a nice riverside market town in Oxfordshire, but the many brokers we work with and the thousands of people who come to us for help with their insurance cover are spread all over the country.

Unfortunately we are not allowed (by law) to give advice over the phone to the general public regarding insurance cover - there are very specific conditions set that govern insurance brokers and what they can and cannot say. But.. if you'd like a general chat about what we do - give us call.

Corporate Social Responsiblity

From the beginning we decided that it was important that CSR play a role in what we do and each year we've donated a percentage of our profits to selected projects or funded entrepreneurial activity through sites like Kiva.

In 2010 we made a commitment to Peace One Day, an organisation dedicated to achieving a single day of non conflict throughout the world and are proud to have become a patron.
