The Drive-Rite School of Motoring is a long-established driving school based in South Manchester. We are a fully government-approved school that have been taking pupils to pass their tests since 1966. The school covers all kinds of driving tuition from absolute beginner (nervous drivers are welcome), to motorway, Pass-Plus, confidence builders, and refreshers. Overseas license holders are also welcome.

Excellent Instructor -
Two of my friends had passed their test first time and had spoken highly of Johanna. I was a confident driver of twenty years when I started to have panic attacks when driving on motorways and some dual carriages.Soon I was restricted to driving locally and couldn't bear the thought of travelling into unknown territory. Johanna took me out and help build up my confidence. She has infinite patience and kindness. I highly recommend her if anyone has this type or a similar problem

Fantastic Instructor
I have recently past my test with Johanna, FIRST TIME in sale. despite most of my friends failing their first attempt, they said i had no chance passing in sale and they were wrong. I only past with the great patience and teaching from Johanna. I would recommend her for anyone at any level! Johanna gave me great confidence when driving on the roads after my test as well as throughout the learning process. I went into my test with an open mind, the examiner was very friendly and all in all it was a pleasant experience. Thanks Johanna!

Very good instructor
Johanna is an excellent instructor. I passed first time with her. She's very patient and explains things clearly. She not only helps you to learn properly in order to pass your test, but also to be a good driver for a life. She is obviously experienced and a great support in your learning process. I would recommend her to anyone who wishes to take driving lessons.

Excellent Instructor
Excellent driving instructor. I passed my test first time with Johanna. I'd definitely recommend Johanna at the rite school of motoring. Her instructions are clear and she is a patient teacher who's obviously very well experienced and can put you at your ease. Thanks Johanna!
