Absolute Digital Services are based in Manchester and have over 20 years experience working in the satellite and TV aerial industry. We are RDI registered, CRB checked and have £2 million public liability Insurance. As registered digital installers we meet strict criteria in installation methods, working practice, customer care, trustworthiness and knowledge of digital signal reception and servicing.

Our aerial fitters are trained in working with ladders, ropes and safety equipment that meets strict health and safety regulations. We are CRB checked (criminal records check for your safety) and carry an RDI Installer identity card to prove our credentials. Our TV aerial installation and repair service covers the Manchester area including Salford, Swinton, Eccles, Tyldesley, Walkden, Worsley, Farnworth, Bolton, Kearsley, Atherton, Leigh, Lowton, Westhoughton, Astley, Radcliffe, Cadishead, Whitefield, Prestwich, Boothstown, Little Hulton, Bury, Heywood, Oldham, Rochdale and Stockport.

What is an RDI ? Well, it stands for ‘Registered Digital Installer’

The Licensing Body of the RDI Scheme states that this scheme will improve the aerial reception industry as a whole and raise standards for TV reception installers all over Britain. Only once an installer has met the strict criteria of the RDI licensing body (RDI-LB) can he or she be fully qualified as an RDI. The qualifications which must be obtained to become an RDI include completing the NVQ - level 2 ‘Electrical and Electronic Servicing - Signal Reception Path Way’, passing a CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) check and passing a course on working at heights.

Absolute Digital Service has been running for over 20 years and during that period have continued to seek and employ professional development and training to keep abreast of new technologies as they appear, so that we can provide our customers with supporting evidence of our engineers’ skills and abilities. Our engineers are NVQ qualified. RDI at last gives some formal recognition of the skills of an installer which may have gone unrecognized in the past as there have been few qualifications available to the trade.
