2e architects are an award winning, RIBA chartered practice. It was conceived in 2009 by its directors Kim Ebling and Nittai Edelmann and is now arguably the most successful practice of its scale in the North West of England.

Since its inception, it has been responsible for ground breaking projects such as the rebranding and retrofitting of 11 tower blocks in Manchester City Centre (multi award winning), as well as the largest Certified PassivHaus Retrofit in the UK and a boutique designed housing project of the highest Calibre.

As an RIBA Chartered Practice we offer full architectural services including architecture, interior design, urban planning and landscape architecture.

Environmental

Stems from our experiences both as Certified PassivHaus experts and as Lead consultants/Designers. We offer full implementation of Certified PassivHaus for new build as well as retrofit. Our teams include the most experienced professionals in the UK, able to complete project on any scale and complexity. The scope of services also extend to any Code of Sustainability requirement.

Consultancy

Stems from our managerial background and personal service which we offer and are proud to provide to all our clients. This service is offered both to Clients and to Main Contractors. We act as a liaison mediating between various parties, such as: Contract Administrator, Clerk of works, Project Management, Design Team, QS and Statutory Authorities. This ensures a 'smooth operation' throughout the length of every project, from briefing to completion. We do not replace the traditional Project Management, we complement it by ensuring the quality of design, service and build is maintained throughout as intended originally.
