Slurps serve a variety of Chinese and Japanese dishes. Their ethos is that you are what you eat, and for that reason they have chosen various recipes from the East which are rich in protein, fibre and vitamins. Catering for private parties of up to 56 guests is available upon request, and a takeaway menu is also provided.

This place rocks
If you have to go to one place in wimbledon, make it slurps, really good food, great staff, they also do takeaway for those lazy nights in. The Gyoza are especially good.

good value, quick and friendly
This little cafe, with bench seating, is a South Wimbledon favourite of ours. Its menu is a mixture of Chinese and Japanese rice and noodle dishes served in generous portions by young and pleasant staff. Prices are very reasonable (eg £5 or £6 for a groaning plateful of chicken and vegetables with black bean sauce) and it's a great place for hungry youngsters on a limited budget. Only problem is that service is so speedy and the turnover so fast that your visit is more likely to last forty minutes than a whole evening!
