Users can invest savings from any other accounts, including existing Individual Savings Account, special UK accounts linked to banks and used for investment and savings and not subject to the same taxes as other investment accounts. And although Nutmeg accounts are aimed at being there to make investments, users can also use this as any other bank account by withdrawing or topping up the accounts at any time.
Users start by answering a set questions about their investment objectives and goals, risk taking limits, time frame of investment, and how much funds they have to invest. From there, the team at Nutmeg creates a balance of investment they think is most viable and profitable.
