This place is fantastic. This was our second meal there and again the food was awesome. The service is personal. Value for money is definitely their and the relaxed atmosphere is the making of a romantic evening. Upgraded the house bottle of wine to a superb Rioja. This is an evening experience rather than just a meal. Will definitely be going back. Thumbs up, do yourself a favour and get booked in worth a try.

Welcome was warm on arrival and myself and my friend were able to choose a table for 2 by the window, despite the fact that this is a small but cosy restaurant. The restaurant appears to be family-run and the food we were served was excellent and well balanced spices. We had the house special, a Medium flavoured Chicken Tikka Dish which was washed down with a bottle of refreshing rose! Recommended.

Went into The Golden Oven in Soho during the royal wedding holidays, very impressed with the whole evening. The staff, were brilliant and knowledgeable also quick to check with the chef when we said we had both nut and onion allergy sufferers dining. The food was fantastic, tasted very fresh, on a whole it was a great dining experience. Will visit again when back in London.

The Golden Oven in Soho was excellent for a pre theatre Dinner. Unfancy, traditional honest food without the grease and boring options that let most other Indian restaurants down. The Waiter simply recommended a dish of mixed fish (wasn't on the menu - couldn't decide as spoilt for choice). The recommendation was excellent - clean, fresh well executed food with a personal touch to the service. Will Return.

Made a reservation for Valentine's Day and we had a really great night at The Golden Oven. Great and innovative food. Friendly and enthusiastic service - people proud of where they work and the food they are serving. We were made to feel welcome and special from the moment we arrived. Great job team!

A long-standing favourite for high-quality Indian food. We have been there many times and often bring people we want to entertain or impress. Fantastic food and service as always. Great team always welcoming you with a smile and excellent regular client recognition. All round great value. Would definitely recommend.

I was so impressed with the reviews at the Golden Oven, that I thought I would try it for a ladies group meal and we had a wonderful evening. The food was plentiful and delicious and the service was incredible. I spoke to the manager beforehand to arrange a menu so that we could pay a set price and he had several suggestions to help the evening run smoothly. It is hard to please a large group, but I was thrilled that so many said they would go back again with their partners.

Excellent service and Food was delicious. It's a perfect place to have decent dinner. The waiting staffs were delightful and attentive with excellently crafted food. The House Special was well spiced and balanced as any we've ever had, and the vegetable rice made an interesting change from plain pilau. Definitely will visit this restaurant again. Top marks all round.

I was extremely impressed by The Golden Oven. In particular, the waiting staffs were highly attentive and very helpful. The menu had a lot of food but the staffs were able to help us with the selection and the choices that were made were spot on. The food tasted very nice and fresh. Overall we were treated as guest in their house which made the evening very pleasant. Hope to visit again keep up the hard work.

I was planning to give 10 out of 10 but thought 9 would be reasonable. The Golden Oven was a great choice and it certainly impressed my friends who were very surprised to find a quality Indian restaurant in the heart of London. The service was polite and prompt and the food was excellent and fresh. The only down side is that the restaurant is small but very cosy. We will definitely be going back.

Our meal was simply sublime. All four of us agreed it was the best Indian restaurant we'd been to in London. We ordered food from mild to very hot, and all dishes were spiced exquisitely and delivered fantastic, fresh flavours. The service was attentive without being intrusive, and there were extra touches that made it a very special meal. Highly Recommended.

The service at Golden Oven was excellent with very friendly and efficient waiters. They served very hot and tasty food which was not too spicy. (Then again I ordered a mild curry) The only criticism was that the table was not large enough to hold all the food! We look forward to returning soon.
