This company is an absolute joke. The most unprofessional company I have ever worked with. We had problem after problem. One example is when our boiler broke mid winter. I phoned the manager asking him to send someone round to fix it, he said they wouldn't let them in even though they have keys and have done it before, so we would have to be there even though we work full time. He said "if we want hot water and heating we had to be home, otherwise it's our problem". My phone then cut out due to signal, so my housemate phoned. He hung up repeatedly on her and refused to talk to her until I phoned up and apologised for "hanging up". An example of some of the childish behavour we had to deal with. We also had problem with bed bugs, rats, mould, damp, and all these problems got resolved within a few days but it was an absolute battle to get them to take it seriously. They have zero customer service and would never return our phonecalls unless they wanted something from us. If anything broke, they sent someone completely unqualified and unregistered, which is breaking the law. Avoid this letting agents at all costs

We are renting from Destiny (have also been known as Gavin Williams & Partners) and it has been non stop problem after problem. There are a lot of problems with our property including damp and infestations just to name a couple (the list is endless). We knew there were some problems with the property but were told they would be sorted before we moved in. Which at first, it did look as if they had stuck to their word. They did say there were little jobs to be done like maintain the garden, cleaning but nothing to stop us moving in. Then we noticed the damp starting again. We told the agency who manage the property of the problems, they send round their builder who is unqualified (the builders words) to fix the damp. After six months, we are still waiting for the damp to be fixed as it was never done properly, our kitchen roof to be fixed as it we get water coming through when it rains. Plus a whole load more work that needs to be done. They don’t seem bothered by any of the problems with the property as long as they get their rent. If I could I wouldn’t even give one star to this joke of a company. I really wouldn’t recommend using this company especially if you have children as their properties are death traps and they don’t care. There are plenty of better agents out there, use them instead.
