Shocking experience

£35 for a Groupon check-up, clean and polish. Not bad, I thought. In reality, I had to wait for over an hour for my pre-booked appointment, I had to suction my own mouth during the cleaning (!) and then, the absolute worst part, I was told that my voucher didn't actually include polishing. When I showed them that it did, they said my teeth would require an extra session of polishing at £55. Again, this would be fine if it was true, but during my hour-long wait for my appointment I heard three other people being told exactly the same thing. A total SCAM, no-one would have bought the Groupon voucher for £90. They also tried very hard to convince me to get expensive X-rays done and said I needed three fillings; a trip to a new dentist today shows that I need none. A truly shocking experience, and one where money seemed to over-ride the most important thing - the care of my teeth. They didn't reply to my email complaint so I do hope they get to read it here instead.
