Have been in a few times when in the area and needing food. It's nothing amazingly special, but it's also never been terrible. The standard staples are well executed, and the staff seem happy to make dishes which are slightly off the menu. Veggies and vegans seem to be happy with the menu. The wine list is the average of average, but by sticking to Old Reliable regions and varietals, it's possible to find a decent accompaniment for the food - but the prices are what you'd expect for somewhere in Bloomsbury - on the expensive side but not eye-watering.Not somewhere I'd travel to eat dinner, but fine if you're in the area.

Popped in here on a night out, having been recommended by friends (it's their favourite place to eat in the area). The food was nice but nothing special, and everything that we ordered was very creamy and rich. The portions weren't very big either, so if you have a good appetite, make sure you order a few side dishes. The one thing that most put me off returning here was tha we were sitting upstairs, where there were maybe five or six tables, and a member of staff stood up there looking around the whole time, so we felt like we were being watched. The food was fine, nothing special, so I don't think it justifies the relatively high prices charged.

The food tasted ok, but it took ages to arrive and was also only luke-warm when it did! Refused to pay service charge which didn't go down too well, won't be visiting again!
