Camden Square Play Centre

Maiden Lane Community Centre provides after school and holiday services running from Camden Square Play Centre (Ofsted registration URN): EY453439 and Maiden Lane Community Centre. Term time services run from 3:30pm-6:00pm and there are escorts available from Torriano and Brecknock School to the play sites.

The services provides activities for children 4-12 years old. We provide general play programmes each week day during term time at Maiden Lane Community Centre we offer activity sessions targeted at children between 9 and 12 years old with very specific activities on each day. We would recommend that children over 8 attend these sessions but there is a degree of flexibility.

The service is part commissioned by Camden as part of the council's strategy to meet its statutory obligation to provide sufficient and affordable childcare for working families living in the borough. However, Maiden Lane Community Centre is committed to working towards delivery of childcare and play opportunities on a universal basis and will continue to develop the service to achieve this end.

Term time sessions will be charged at £8:00 per day, although some working parents will be eligible for a subsidy so you will pay £5.50 per place (details download here). The minimum booking period is one term but short notice and ad hoc places are usually available.
