This shop is so reliable and honest that they have not tried to sell me a bike for the past 8 years - and during that time between services they have given me freebie brake pad changes and gear adjustments to keep me safe on the road. My bike Finally died on me last week and I brought a new one: the advice on is great and genuinly fits what kind of cycling I do, distance etc, and my budget - they dont try to 'sell up' to the next range, or blind you with jargon, and happy to respond to the most stupid question. I would really recommend them - its rare to get such knowledgable, enthusiastic and down to earth advice in a bike shop from people whose passion is cycling. It is also great as a woman to get a good service - rare in bike shops which seem to be run by teams of men that tend to either ignore women or talk down to them.

Popped in the other day to get couple hangers for my boyfriend's bike. I'm not sure if they tried to use the situation to get rid off the used parts for the price as new when there was me – a girl who doesn't know much about bikes. But when my boyfriend saw the parts I brought went bullocks. Both parts were scratched, dirty and most important at least one of the hangers had been already bent and straitened which means the part shouldn't be used anymore, moreover sold as new part. Shame on you, Apex Cycles!
