Disappointing level of service

I'd love to write a positive review about this business. However, I must highlight the underhanded practice by 'Alan' when selling animal medicines. My dad keeps pigeons, worming tablets being a necessity to keep them health as tapeworm and roundworm infections are common in pigeons and seriously affect their health. My dad bought some worming tablets from Alan's pet supplies where he hadn't disclosed that 50 tablets had only 2 months left on the expiry date prior to despatch. After contacting him, he decided that a refund wasn't warranted and so refused to refund the item, despite distance selling regulations explicitly saying a refund must be issued if the item isn't fit for purpose or sold as described. A charlatan who needs to run a business like a cowboy. A shame that unscrupulous business people exist out to make a quick buck no matter how small.
