Fordthorne holds the Ford Main Dealer Franchise for the West of Cardiff, including the towns of Penarth, Barry and parts of the Vale of Glamorgan. It is a successor to the original Ford Franchise holder in Cardiff, which was established in 1922. It is a wholly owned subsidiary of Penarth Commercial Properties Ltd.
