Poor
Like most chain restaurants, this one is poor.I went there for a mate's birthday and though the food was ok, the service was awful: they put some bottles of wine on our bill even though they had been paid for up front and were very accusatory and unhelpful in trying to get the situation sorted out.If you want Italian food there are a million better options.

Review for ASK Restaurant, Cardiff
This restaurant is situated in the trendy Mill Lane area of Cardiff. The menu is vast and interesting and is guaranted to have something for everyone. They also do a good children's menu. This is an ideal restuarant to sit and peopl watch as the ceiling to floor glass windows give it a very open and bright atmosphere. Food is cooked to order so expect a bit of a wait, especially at lunchtimes. You can pre-order though which saves time. They also have a full bar and I love the fact that they serve their drinks in pre-chilled glasses. I usually have the Spaghetti Carbonara - I can't fault it. Their pizzas are very good as well. They are large so if you only have a small appetite it may be worthwhile sharing!! This is a great place to go with friends at lunchtime or after work or for a romantic meal with your other half.

Good branch
This is a standard branch of Ask and is situated very centrally. It has a good choice of pizza, pasta and salads. I recommend any Ask for a great meal out at an affordable price.

ASK restaurant
In May 2005 I spent a long weekend in Cardiff.Cardiff has many Italian restaurants; ASK is one of them. They serve all kinds of pizza and pasta dishes and have day specials written on a chalkboard. I opted for a Pizza Tuna with chilli and rocket salad, which was a bit too spicy for me. Nevertheless, the meals are delicious and the service is friendly. LOCATION:ASK is located in Cardiff's city centre at Mill Lane, just east of the Central Tain Station. The building is triangle shaped and equipped with big windows for people watching.
