At last an excellent Chinese with warm, smiling and good service. A treat.

We've been to Tai O many times, as a couple, with a large family party, mid-week and Saturday and we have never been disappointed. Food aside, what a pleasure to discover a "Far Eastern" restaurant with staff who welcome you with a smile and who provide warm and attentive service throughout. This has in effect stopped us visiting the other place in Mold where the service leaves much to be desired. The quality of the food at Tai O is excellent - tasty, well presented and beautifully cooked. You are even asked if you wish to wait a little before embarking on your main course. That relaxed pace adds much to our enjoyment of the meal. We've yet to be disappointed with any choice made and would recommend the house platters; they are scrumptious and if you like your Satay sauce their skewered platter is divine!! Good value for money, portions are ample, Tai O has become increasingly busy, so booking worthwhile. The decor is nothing to shout home about but you don't eat decor. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
