My expectations were to have a new patio laid from fence to fence and to the gate, I mentioned that the slabs at the bottom were like a patchwork quilt and that was reason I wanted replaced and extended patio NOT add on the existing slabs that were there. You measured out the space from fence to fence and to gate and agreed with me to lay the patio to the desired space. I asked you to email me with the quote and you chose to ignore that request I asked to have everything sealed and you agreed, then told me to buy my own joint mix. You clearly did not bring enough slabs with you as I had to come out to ask why you hadn’t laid the patio to the fence, you then used old slabs to patch this mistake, in the dark. There was a cracked slab that I had to insist you replaced and that the patio was not even, you said that was because of the design of the slabs I disagreed with you, but you fixed one and ignored me on the rest. You mentioned if using old slabs, you would get them cleaned up and they would match the new ones, they clearly do not. After the works I told you I was disappointed and could you come see my on the Friday, you turned up unannounced on the Thursday when I was very busy with work and laid some stones, I feel you pressured me into transferring the money as you said the guys were waiting to be paid. You left me with a patch of dirt, that was then patched up with a broken slab You said you couldn’t do the full area as it would cause water issues, if you are a professional, I would expect you to anticipate that and design the patio in such a way to avoid any issues You promised a lifetime guarantee I feel robbed and cheated I need you to come back and fix the bottom patio area as agreed with all new slabs.
