Situated in the heart of the North Berwick town centre, we offer you a place with a great atmosphere, great food and most importantly a great service.



We are more than just a public house. We have a fantastic and welcoming atmosphere, as well as a variety of entertainment, ranging from quizzes and karaoke competitions.



The County Hotel also has accommodation available, as well as a FREE function hall to rent, which houses 35-40 guests.



In addition, we serve up some great traditional home cooked bar meals, perfect for when you feel that little bit peckish.



You'll find a wealth of information on this site, not just about the great County Hotel, but about what sort of things you can do while you are in North Berwick.

The place to eat....

The County Hotel has a restaurant for up to 22 people, which gives the perfect atmosphere for a cozy, enjoyable lunch or dinner.



Our restaurant opens at 12 noon, and remains open throughout the day, serving fantastic home cooked hearty meals using fresh produce, locally sourced where possible.



During the week (Monday to Saturday), you can take advantage of our special offer, which is if you buy any main meal, you'll get the second half price! Certainly not an offer to be sniffed at, and makes it even more value for money.

The place to drink......

For a great value afternoon or night out, you need look no further than The County Hotel.



Featuring a fully stocked bar, with over 50 different malt whiskys, as well as serving the cheapest pint (which only serves to make the pint taste that little bit sweeter!), there is no reason that you can't have an enjoyable time.



Add into that mix a great, friendly and warm atmosphere, some traditional pub games, including pool, darts, poker and dominoes, and you've got a recipe for a good time.



Still need convincing? How about Sky TV, which shows all the major sporting events? We've got that right here. Need more? Our fabulous Beer Garden at the back of the pub, which is a real sun trap whenever the sun comes out. The beer garden is big enough to hold garden parties of up to 50 guests.



Is there anything else that we can say to sweeten the deal? We could always mention that instead of serving the normal 25ml measure, we are the only hotel in North Berwick that sells 35ml measures as standard. Not only that, we are the cheapest bar in North Berwick, and we strive to stay that way.



Patrons can also take advantage of our free function room for parties and get togethers. This service is currently enjoyed by the local Law Bikers Club, and the recently formed cycle group.
