Had a electrician come to price up a extra socket I needed , didn't want to do the job so told me to use an extension lead he did replace a face plate on existing socket and charged me £190 which took 30 minutes...total rip off I gave sent invice to trading standards with ring door bell video to prove how long he was here.....do not use this company stay well clear of them

Turned up, ignored me, spoke directly to National Grid guy. Told me what the problem was, refused to do the work, made me stand out in the rain while he sat in his car doing the paperwork in order to charge £200. Wish I'd read reviews first, but was desperate for someone to come out that day.

We were looking for a local electrician and came up with 247 Electrician otherwise trading as first enterprise in Kidderminster. They turned up no ladders took off a light switch said it could be a wire lose you need a re wire of the whole house spent 20 mins here doing nothing pretending to be busy then charged us a call out and one hour labour. Just under £200 beware of these cowboys. They will rip you off! I wish I read these reviews first?

Really quick to attend and very pleasant chap came to help find a problem with tripping. All good but shocked at overall cost. 1 hour 25 minutes labour cost just under £200 after VAT. Ooooch!!! Shop around folks.

Wish I'd read reviews before using this company. I was desperate as my husband was sick. The most boring thoughtless biased opinionated annoying man came out and charged me over £200 for 15 minutes work replacing a £5 junction box. I paid because I just wanted him out of my house and needed to get back to my husband who was very unwell in bed. As reported by another reviewer, this man just wouldn't stop talking, spouting his unsolicited rubbish. Trading standards need to know about this company. I was vulnerable which is not normally the case and I could kick myself for not ordering him out of my house.

Our 84 year old widowed neighbours sockets tripped out at midnight on a Friday night so she had no electricity overnight. This company were called and came to sort out the problem. They left having not found out what was wrong leaving her with 1 socket working in the lounge and 1 in the kitchen and nothing working upstairs and charged her £325 for the privilege. When called they were uninterested in sorting anything else out for her. A local company came in and found the fault and repaired it within the hour for £120. First Enterprise should be totally ashamed of themselves lets hope nobody treats an elderly member of their family this way. I don't know how you can sleep at night ripping off an elderly person you're a disgrace !!!!!!!

.Rushed job 15 minutes .Billed £200+ .Racist .Unpresentable, the guy has the sent of cat P!S$ And a combination of BO + extremely greasy hair it’s a safety hazard (I come from a 3rd world country and the poor people there are more presentable then this guy) .Negative attitude .Extremely rudeeeeeeee If I lived in hell they would send me this electrician Also he had the audacity to boast to me how no matter how long he takes to do the job wether it takes 5minutes-1hr he will still get paid the same

I had a call out last week for an electrical fault. I was charged for two and a half hours plus call out charge although he was only here one and a half hours. I realised that l had been over charged but l was so relieved to just get rid of him. He talked virtually non stop for the whole time that he was here, the most boring rubbish and bored the arse off me.

I asked if they could repair a ceiling fan. They said no problem over the phone and quoted me a price, which I accepted. The electrician turned up at the time stated. He had no ladder so I had to supply one. He spent about 4 minutes and tested a power supply which he said was good. He then said I would need a new fan and made no attempt to repair it. He then billed me and left. I am contacting Trading Standards about them. They are very misleading and do nothing for a huge bill. DO NOT USE THEM.

I employed an electrician to fit an external socket to my portacabin at work. I got the number from the Yellow pages aaaaaa Electrical Tel 0800 95 2203 Mobile 07727 437220. I told the electrician what I wanted and arranged for him to come and see what I needed. He did not have the parts and so took me (he drove) to an electrical wholesaler, he told the trade counter what he needed I paid. I paid £82 for this privilege, but did so to ensure that the parts were correct. The parts had to be ordered, and I collected a few days later. The electrician was called and given the parts, he then fitted them and them realised that they were the wrong orientation, he had ordered a socket rather than an inlet. He assured me prior to me foolishly paying that we would just need to change the fascia which was a quick and cheap operation. I then spent the best part of the day finding out that it was not the case. The whole part needed changing. I called the company several times and no one came back to me, finally they did and "offered" to fit the replacement parts for half price. As far as I am concerned I already paid for the job once and through their incompetence the job needs rectifying, so I expect the correction to be done within what I have already paid. They are claiming that they did not order the parts, yes I paid for them, they conveniently ignore the fact that I paid their electrician to specify the parts to the wholesaler. Then they claim that I did not give the electrician an opportunity to see the parts before they were fitted. Obviously he fitted the parts with his eyes closed. Had they realised the error prior to fitting the parts could have been exchanged. The Paperwork states the company is called F1rst Enterprise Tel 0800 195 2503 PO Box 4036 Kidderminister Worce DY10 1ZL. I was told the boss was Mr Steve Jones. Yet the VAT Number is traced to a David Andrew Ashcroft who trades as First Enterprise of 3 Maple Close Stourbridge DY7 6BT.

The RCB tripped when the cooker switch was turned on. The operative from the company spent 10 minutes and Charged my daughter 129.60. His misdiagnosis was that the cooker was faulty and that it should be replaced. He did not check the wiring to the cooker even though the time charged was for 1 hour. Any lay person could have identified the fault as the cooker circuit. I f he had taken off the cover to the box where the cooker was wired to the wall he would have seen the problem. I rang the office but had no joy with the person I spoke to. He pointed out that there is part of the terms and conditions signed which states: "No guarantee can be given on fault finding and diagnostic work due to the intellectual management of the engineer". This is one huge get out clause if you ask me. So there is no gurantee that the person they send out will correctly diagnose the fault. What is the purpose of their service therefore.
