About
We have superior quality heated, fully insulated, double glazed and air conditioned kennel and cattery accommodation all with indoor runs to ensure maximum comfort for your pets whatever the weather. Three to Four exercise times a day for dogs in our secure grassed paddocks and cuddle times for cats. Special diets and medication are catered for. Home comforts are welcomed. Inspection visits are encouraged during our opening hours without the need for an appointment. ... ... ... ... ...
BBK Improvements
Since we purchased BBK in 2007 we have implemented a number of improvements to what was already one of Worcestershires' premier boarding establisments.Our aim is to provide our boarders with the best stay possible by giving them the best facilities and care we can provide to give you peace of mind while you are away.Some of the improvements are :Dogs have more time out of the kennels because of the addition of another grassed paddock, even when we are full to capacity the dogs have a minimum of an hours playtime split into three or four sessions. When we are quieter they have a lot more time out to play.Security over the whole site has been improved with the addition of more gates and fencing.One of our catteries has been totally refurbished.All blocks are now fully quarry tiled, over 300 sq meters have been laid.Due to customer requests we have extended our opening hours.A new computer network from the site to the house now allows us to take bookings after closing time.All blocks now have smoke alarms.A new website has been built which has a booking request facility. http://www.bbkennels.co.uk.
Our "Presidential Kennels" are always very popular and booked out months in advance so we have built another to try and keep up with demand.
Specialist Services
We will administer any prescription or non prescription medication, and cater for special dietary needs free of charge.
We also have a full professional grooming service on site.
Trade Bodies / Associations
All of our boarders are covered by our insurance policy for up to £1500 per animal for kennel/ cattery related conditions for the duration of their stay and for up to 72 hours after leaving the premises.

We will never use this kennel again
We have been using this kennel for twelve years and have recommended them to others.However. lately the quality of management and staff has gone down.In January I checked that a kennel with its own outside run was availble for September and was told yes.We booked the holiday and I phoned the kennel to confirm the booking.When we arrived the day before our holiday,we were told the booked kennel was not available 'as it had not been written down'.No apology was made and it was said as though it was our fault.They did promise that our dog would be moved to the correct kennel for 7 of the 10 days (did it happen?).On our return, we were told we had not left them enough of his medication.In spite of giving them written instructions to give him one and a half tablets a day, they had given him two a day -thanks goodness we were not away for a fortnight! Again the reason given was 'it was not written down' - our fault again?

Fantastic, first class kennels!!
Our two dogs have had a great time at Bewdley Boarding Kennels over the last ten years. The facilities are first class and Mark, Jo and their team are fantastic. We trust them completely with the dogs. As well as the creature comforts enjoyed by the dogs, the staff take time to play with the dogs and get to know their likes and dislikes. Both of our ageing dogs now require daily medication; this is also done without any hesitation. We moved abroad two years ago and we have driven nearly 1000 miles to kennel the dogs at BBK while we have gone on holiday on three occasions. Our best recommendation is that the dogs always seem better when they leave the kennels than when they arrive!

Top Class !!
We visited these kennels for a look around whilst we were staying with family in the area; their new dog wasn't getting on with ours and this was causing a problem for our visit. The staff were very friendly and professional and showed us around the kennel blocks and explained about their kennel routines in detail. The accommodation was top notch and very quiet compared to places we had used before; the dogs get exercise 3 – 4 times per day and they even have air conditioning units for use in the Summer! We didn't have Barneys' vaccination card with us so they rang our vet to get the details of his kennel cough and annual booster. We shall certainly use them again when we are staying in the area or flying from Birmingham airport.

satisfied customer
Having 2 'first timers' (dogs aged 4 1/2 yrs each) we visitied several kennels unannounced. We were impressed by the staff at Bewdley, they were very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble for them, they never seemed irritated by a nervous owners questions! They encouraged a pre-visit for the dogs and again we were pleased with their interaction with the dogs. We left them with a list of information on the dogs (they asked for as much info as poss) who are quite different characters. I know they worked very hard with our German Pointer who is nervous and does not like strangers or fuss. What he does like is playing with his kong and as I understand it, the staff spent hours with him throwing the kong and gained his trust and friendship. Personally, I felt it more important that the staff really cared for the dogs as individuals which I know they did!! Other kennels I visited had bigger play areas but lacked the warm personalities that Bewdley had. I was proved right with my choice and would not hesitate to book my dogs in again and recommend these kennels very highly.
