Universal Counselling is a professional Counselling Service offering one to one and couple counselling for relationships, trauma, bereavement and loss, eating disorders, addiction and much more ... Julie Murphy has been a member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) since 2005 and working within the field of counselling and therapy since 1999. Julie is extremely experienced and you can expect a high quality service every time knowing that you can talk in complete confidence without being judged or made to feel uncomfortable in any way. Universal Counselling is easy to access being situated close to the city centre with parking is available.

What Counselling involves

Counselling means talking with an impartial listener in a confidential, non-judgmental, supportive and respectful environment. This will create the opportunity for you to explore, to a greater depth, the thoughts and feelings which surround the difficulties and issues you are currently facing. As a counsellor, I will encourage you to draw upon your own resources, I will help you to explore and work through problems by increasing your awareness and understanding. In doing so you will then be able to develop self-acceptance, personal insight, and to make any changes that you need to make in your life.
