Horbury Dismantlers, Wakefield (also operating as Ford Spares, in Ossett) headed by Graham Armstrong, operate a salvage business providing salvaged parts for cars. They do business over the internet either directly or through other internet comparison sites. Through a comparison site I requested a specific part for a specific car and Ford Spares responded saying they had the part available. I ordered the part and paid for it using Paypal. On their website (http://www.fordspares.org.uk/) they say “All parts are removed from the car then checked and cleaned and marked before being placed in our warehouse". My part arrived covered in oil and dirt and it had obviously been ripped straight from the donor car. When I came to fit the part I found that it was not the correct part. I contacted Ford Spares who said if I returned the part they would give me a complete refund. I have been waiting over four months and I have given up hope of getting a refund from them. I have done some research on the internet and it appears they have carried out this scam a number of times - they send out the wrong part and when you send it back they refuse to return your money.
