Work History

I am a fully qualified painter and decorator to advanced craft city and guilds and have 20 plus years experience , I am based in Leeds but work in many areas further a field such as North, south, east and west Yorkshire locations. I am around 5 minutes from the motorway so I can get to most jobs within 1.5 hours. I am self employed but over the years I have worked for several companies carrying out insurance repair work where there has been a fire, flood or escape of water and also internal structural crack repairs. Before I start a new job I try organise materials when possible and arrive on site on time and will remain there for the duration of the day and be punctual everyday of work thereafter .Over the years I have been responsible for organising my own workload and working to my own initiative or sometimes as part of a team with similar or different trades I take great pleasure in my work and enjoy what I do and no job is too small with each job having it's own challenge's. I decorate someone's home as if it were my own and lot's of satisfied customers have commented about how rare it was to find a tradesman that actually wanted to be in someone's home and taking pride in their work. I am very professional, organised, disciplined, clean, friendly, trusted, reliable and highly recommended with a 100% work record. I can assure anyone that employs my services , that they will not be disappointed. When I work in a customers home it has to be treated as a work place for Health and Safety purposes , but I always take great care to return the work place back to the home it was prior to my visit. My work place has always been varied as one day I may have been working in a council house and the next day a stately home, but every job is treated the same and that is , the finish is always to the highest standard I can attain.
