Having been immersed in water from an early age as a competitive swimmer, I spent many an hour massaging tension from fellow team mates on the poolside. Knowing the benefits this could bring to alleviate pain brought about a curiosity for soft tissue work. So after a degree in psychology, a spell in advertising and knowing there was more to life than sitting at a desk, I cured that curiosity by training in bodywork therapies.

With experience of working with Castleford Tigers rugby league squad, Leeds Carnegie rugby union players and Leeds Bradford Triathlon Club, I have an acute understanding of sports injuries and how massage can aid performance & rehabilitation. Movement, alignment and positioning are of particular interest having worked as company Massage Therapist with Northern Ballet for a number of years.

Being involved with Active Foundation, a charity raising money for disabled children, has exposed me to working with high profile bands and artists at prestigious events. These include the O2 festival, Party in the Park, Simply Red, Craig David, Liberty X and Thom Yorke of Radiohead.
