I never usually take the time to write reviews, but from the dreadful experience I had the other day at Intro Hair, I feel like I need to warn everyone (especially students as it's in a student area). For starters, they had obviously over booked. I was seen 15 mins late, and was kept waiting inbetween the guy cutting my hair so he could wash other peoples hair, answer his MOBILE PHONE, and go off for a drink. The poor girl next to me said to him whilst he was cutting my hair "I'm pissed off now, I've been here since 10am and it's now 2pm, all I wanted was highlights", and the guy didn't even apologise, he just stopped cutting my hair and went to sort her out. And I haven't even started to explain MY hair experience there. I've had my hair cut there previously 4 times, each time they've cut it nice and I've generally been happy. I decided I wanted a side fringe (took in a photo of Keira Knightly). The guy who usually cuts my hair (who is the manager apparently who looks about 22) wasn't in, so the old, foreign looking man cut it instead. He cut my fringe WAY too short, gave me a weird unattractive mullet fringe thing which is really bluntly cut - NOTHING like what the hair was like in the photo, and he didn't even trim all the way round my hair. I only noticed this till I got home, as I literally live down the road. When I got home, I properly examined what he'd done to my hair, and I just burst out crying. My hair grows slowly, and I now have this choppy, short weird side fringe, with a chunk of bluntly cut hair that sticks out and doesn't fall anywhere. I rang up the salon the same day to say I wasn't happy and that I wanted a refund, and the man literally just kept repeating 'but I did what was in the picture', and I was getting frustrated saying NO YOU DIDN'T. He then put the phone down on me and I went in the next morning to speak to the manager. Upon the manager seeing the state of my hair, he refused to give me any refund, simply because I didn't say anything at the time he was cutting (wrecking) my hair. Having a change to my hair was a big thing for me which took a lot of researching what I wanted, and making sure I definitely wanted it done. £22 is a lot of money to me, and I've wasted my money and time for a shite haircut that I could have literally done better myself! PLEASE don't go here to have ANYTHING done :( Also, the place itself looks dead shabby, and they basically wash your hair in a cupboard, and dry your hair with tea towels! But if you choose to go there anyway, DON'T let the old guy cut your hair. He is the most docile, thick, ridiculous man, who is definitely on something- he can't cut hair well. Obviously customer satisfaction isn't in their interest, and they need to be shut down, or get better management, cause this place is a joke.
