If you go to jongleurs, go for the comedians, not the food, atmosphere, drinks or after-show dancing. The food is below par at above average prices, the drinks are ridiculously expensive and the after-show "party" is bad music for bad dancers.Oh and stay away from bar risa next door too, chav heaven! The comedy shows are brilliant, if you sign up to the website, you will get loads of emails with two for one ticket offers and get in free once on your birthday month. Some big names have appeared at Jongleurs and some far lesser known but equally hilarious z-listers make up the bill.

Jongleurs is a fantastic comedy club that usually pulls in some high class comedians. The price of entry varies according to which comedian is on, so it's entirely up to you how much you're willing to pay.A word of warning - leave after the comedy show. The night takes a downward spiral into a cheesey, cringeworthy disco with many 'has-beens' looking for love on the dancefloor, and being generally perverted. Also, don't eat here as the food is definitley below average. The staff can be OK if you keep on the right side of them, i.e. don't make eyecontact! And definitley do NOT heckle any comedians, my friend got thrown out for doing so!The comedy's great, but that's about it.

This is THE comedy spot in Leeds. Has some of the biggest comedians from around the country. Not cheap, and heckling is stricktly out of order. But, a great night.I have been to see the great Ed Byrn perform here, and a couple of B grade comedians, who never made it onto tv.The price can vary from show to show, and it is always worth researching before you go. Tickets for the biggest acts normally book up fast, and group bookings can shave alot of money from your overall price. Please be on your best behaviour. I have been thrown out before for being too drunk. So, its not good for people just looking to get blathered. Its situated next to some great after bars such as, tiger tiger. This place is for over 21's and is a good place to contionue the night that isnt ready to end.

As you would expect, the comedy is top notch, on a Saturday night the comedians you see here, you may well have seen on your telly. The staff have always been friendly & helpful, but woe betide you if you persistently heckle... not the done thing in ‘chain' comedy emporiums. After the comics the place makes a surreal change into a very cheesy club (the word disco sums it up)... though I've never stayed much into this transformation... I go to ‘a club' when I want to be in a club. Similarly if you want a good meal, do it before or after the comedy... the food is on a par with those late night burger vans you'll see shining like a greasy beacon to all the stumbling drunks fighting for a taxi. You wouldn't expect your fave DJ or chef to be able to do a standup routine. Stick to what you do best.
