From the early days of tent camping to the latest luxury caravans - Brookside has provided up-to-date facilities and caravans for happy, carefree caravan holidays, and we hope this year you will join the many families who have happy memories of their stay.
A holiday caravan of your own in the heart of the sunny Sussex countryside close to the Sea and the Downs. With the golden sandy beaches of Littlehampton and the ancient town of Arundel at your doorstep and the bustling resorts of Bognor, Worthing and Brighton only jaunting distance away. Your caravan would be sited on a hard base and remain safely in its position through the winter as Brookside lies protected in the area between the South Downs and the friendliest of Britain's coasts.

Brookside is set in attractive rural surroundings by the small village of Lyminster, about 2 miles from old world Arundel with its magnificent historic castle, and 1.5 miles from Littlehampton where sandy beaches make an ideal playground for children. Littlehampton holds a consistently high place in the official sunshine summary issued annually by the Met. Office and the beach has once again been awarded a European 'blue flag' this year! Plenty of places of interest and beauty spots are within easy reach. Brookside is an excellent centre for exploring the South Coast. The park extends over 6.5 acres of clean, well-drained grassland. The caravans have their own mains water and drainage connections. There is a small launderette with iron points and a screeend drying area on the park. A games room has pool table, table-tennis, table football and wall games. The swings, rocking horse, playframe and large sandpit and always popular with the children and there is lots of open grass. Footpaths lead across the adjoining farmland, and there are lovely walks and cycle rides nearby in the heart of the West Sussex woods and downs. The shops at Wick are less than half a mile from the park enroute to Littlehampton.

We have a good selection of caravans available for hire from the 1st of March until the end of October. Lets are usually from Saturday to Saturday and breaks are available over the Easter, May Day and Whitsun bank holidays too. PHEW.... we're OPEN! And so many of you have come down within the first two weeks. A lovely weekend of sunshine and the sunbathing begins... IN MARCH. Well, it's hopefully a good omen for the coming year.Our brand new laundry block is nearly open. I'll put a gallery of photos from its construction on our website http://www.brooksideuk.com/ in a few weeks and we will hope to have it fully open by Easter. Testing and commissioning takes place next week.Bookings for Easter are going well and we are nearly full up. ON THE PARK: Well... it has started. The workmen have arrived en masse. Within a day or so they had removed the old ladies and gents toilet/shower blocks (yes, we had showers for tourers and tents (in the late 1960s!!) and those without them in caravans many, many moons ago!) and the work has begun transforming the building into a shiny new laundry and disabled unisex toilet. We are all excited about this and it really is interesting to see the progress made on a daily basis.FOR OWNERS: One and a half weeks until we are open for the 2012 season - it has been really cold down here for a few days at the beginning of the month. When you return, please take extra care when you are draining up as we have had pipes freeze even underground. If you have booked our drain down and up service, please give us 48 hours notice of when you are coming back on site so we can have everything ready for you.
