About Us
Barts Busy Bees is a community playgroup based in St.Bartholomew's Community Hall, Penn (opposite the Church).
Free/Funded places for 3-4 yr olds,

We admit children from their 2nd birthday, up until August 31st following their 5th birthday. We don't mind if they're still in nappies, we will do all we can to help you to toilet train them when you want us to.
Children follow the nationally approved Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum, giving them a great all-round educational start.
We are also offering a wrap around service for children attending St Bartholomew's afternoon nursery, where you can bring your child to us and we will escort them to nursery at 12.15pm with their lunch provided by you and you can collect them at 3.15pm.

Very Busy Bees
My daughter attends this playgroup and has done since the day it opened. She absolutely loves it! It's a friendly, warm, caring environment for every child, where nothing is too much trouble for the staff. My daughter has come on leaps and bounds and learnt so much since attending. I couldn't ask for more from a Playgroup, she is a very happy busy bee and would definitely recommend this to any parent. Summer clubs are an added bonus.... Fun, fun fun.....!

My son left Busy Bees in July to go to nursery. He has had a fantastic time there playing and having fun. The staff are all lovely and the hall has a warm and friendly atmosphere. There is always lots of crafts, painting, making and of course books and toys and my son always came home with a painting or craft. He loved the walks on the field and always had lots to tell me about. I really can't recommend Busy Bees highly enough, and my daughter will be going there when she's old enough.

As our children take their first step into playgroup we as parents need to know we are leaving our children with trustworthy people in a safe environment. Busy bees oferrs all of these. The staff are amazing bubbly people who are both caring and understanding to each individuals needs. I have been sending my daughter since april. She has seperation anxiety and the staff have helped her grow in confidence and helped me as her mum to let go a bit. Zafia loves going to busy bees and i love hearing about all the activities she has done and the fun she has had. I would definitely recommend Busy bees as a place where your child will be very happy!
