Customer focus & standards

As a constant user of this Three Cooks Cafe I was appauled at the total non-proffesional attitude of the so called staff. On arrival on Tuesday 11 March around 10:30am we saw 2 staff entering the premises, just finishing off their cigarettes.The shop front was devoid of any staff, the reamining 2 staff were having a laugh at the back of the cafe. Once we got our tea/coffee & sandwiches, the young female staff decided to have a sing a long and a general chat. The shop front was staffed for about 5 mins of the total time we were in the cafe( around 20 mins). Following the staffs frollics, they decided to hold an un promtue staff meeting, which appeared to be a chance to sit down and have a further chat and eat some cakes. Another thing which appauled us was the milk for the tea & coffees for the front of the shop was left out in the open, with the lid off for the entire time we were in the Cafe. There were no sandwiches made up in the front shop. All in all the staffs attitude to Customers seemed to be we were getting in the way of them having a good time. The staffs attitiude to cleanliness seemed to be lacking, although I have to say one staff did wipe down the working surfaces in the shop front while we were there. I don't know whether myself and my wife will be using this Cafe or shop for the near future.
