In 1987 after the sale of the High Street branch, Prinja Pharmacy opened at 328 Holly Lane, Erdington, Birmingham. In 1999 construction of Eatonwood Medical Centre, 1128 Tyburn Road, Erdington, Birmingham B24 0SY (present main location) was completed and Prinja Pharmacy moved to this new purpose-built site. 2004 saw the Prinja Pharmacy business grow further with the acquisition of an additional pharmacy at 1097 Chester Road, Pype Hayes, Birmingham B24 0PP.

About Us

The idea to open a pharmacy to meet the needs of the Erdington's community was conceived in September 1982 and PRINJA PHARMACY was opened on Valentine's Day 1983 at 46 High Street, Erdington, Birmingham. In 1984 the branch was expanded and with the help and support of the Erdington community our business has flourished ever since.

Specialist Services

In 2008, Prinja Pharmacy changed its legal status from a sole proprietorship to a limited company known as S.P.A. Healthcare Limited T/A PRINJA PHARMACY.

Mr Chander Kant Prinja is our superintendent pharmacist registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council ( GPhC No. 2025456 ). He is also is a member of Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain, Member of Institute of Pharmacy Management and also a member of the Society of Cosmetic Scientists. He has served on the Local Pharmaceutical Committee for a number of years, initially representing National Co-Operative Chemists and then as an independent contractor.
