The name Bigwood has been part of the world of property throughout the Midlands since 1845. Edwards Son and Bigwood, Edwards Bigwood and Bewlay and Colliers Bigwood and Bewlay are names well know to property owners and professionals alike. It is from this established family tree that the business has grown and now includes the practices of Leeson Son and Hackett, Cecil Cariss and Son, Robert Martin Associates, Thomas Pinson and Sons, Smith Balla, and Peter Checkley and Co, all of which have become part of Bigwood Chartered Surveyors.

With over 160 years experience in the property profession the Company has remained leaders in their field providing a wide range of services to meet the challenging needs of established and new clients. Property is a valuable asset which requires the depth of knowledge, experience and expertise that Bigwood have always been proud to offer.

Curry & Partners was established in 1994 as a firm of Independent Chartered Surveyors and Property Management Consultants and has grown organically and by selective acquisitions to become one of the largest independently owned specialist Commercial and Residential Management Firms in the Midlands, with its Head Office in Birmingham City Centre.

From March 2003, the Firm transferred to a Limited Liability Partnership, incorporated in England, Curry & Partners LLP. This has enabled us to attract the highest quality Partners and personnel to ensure that we continue to provide our high quality of services.

Paul and Nigel Curry head the Firm of seven Partners, whose expertise spans the complete spectrum of property related matters.

The firm's philosophy is underpinned by an in-depth knowledge of the property industry, with skilled and qualified staff, highly motivated to provide a dedicated and quality individual service. Strengthened by efficient administration and up to date management software systems, this enables the Firm to meet the needs and requirements of Clients in this varied and ever changing market.

Good communication, accessibility and flexibility ensure a strong Client relationship and these are the hallmarks of our business. A significant number of Landlords have entrusted their property affairs to Curry & Partners. These range from private individual owners to independent Landlords, Property Companies and Charitable Trusts.
