Restaurant - Chinese in Stratford-upon-Avon
Swans Nest Lane
Stratford Upon Avon

Went to Ripple Cafe with my sister and 3 year old nephew. My nephew had already had lunch so it was just the adults eating. When my nephew took a chicken nugget from my plate the 'manager' swooped on us!!! She was extremely rude and told us that if my nephew wanted to eat we should pay. I apologised and jokingly said that I would pay for the chicken nugget. She was again rude and walked away. She then proceeded to charge me £2.50 for the chicken nugget, when I questioned this she laughed in my face?? Instead of receiving good customer service she was confrontational and aggresive. The food wasn't even that great anyway - chinese fast food at it's worst. I'll never go there again, they don't deserve the custom!

The food here is very nice, with a really good selection of oriental cusine. There's definately something that everyone will like. Eating here in the evening is pretty pricy, about £15 a head, but it is all you can eat so you can justify the high price. The staff are really attentive and take away empty drinks and plates straight away. The location of the place is great, withing walking distance of the town centre, lovely views of the River Avon, and right next to a big carpark. Only downside of this place is that it does get a bit noisy in the restaurant when it's full, as the tables are packed in tightly. Above the restaurant is a club so you can spend a whole night there.

With its location near the river the Ripple cafe is a lovely place to go for a drink on a hot summer's day with a few friends in their beer garden, however that is not all this place has to offer. They also offer delicious chinese-style food from their mouth watering menu which will ave something for every pallette. The food is reasonably priced and during the week they offer an all you can eat buffet whoch is guaranteed to fill you up.The restaurant itself is very nicely decorated with a more modern, trendy style, yet it still manages to keep the 'feel' of stratford.Overall the Ripple is a nice place to go for whaveter you fancy, be it food or liquid.
