On Canal
We always visit Pete's when we are on our canal boat, we walk past the one on the corner and go to Pete's its a longer walk but so much more worth it. He has a cod & chips and I have a haddock and chips, peas and curry, have to be the best fish and chips, better than my local.

Just the other day
I popped in the other lunch for a fish and chips with peas, was really nice, i think the fish was really fresh, i have not had a chunky fillet like this before and the batter was crisp and not oily and thick like other places... the chips were perfect, just the right amount of salt and vinegar, and the peas were out of this world, had to be fresh... my only one issue was the girl working there was a manu fan. cant blame them for that though,.. I would reccomend and have now made this my local when in nuneaton.

by far the best
this place is the best place i have eaten at lately. if you have read my reviews of other fish shops you will know i am fussy and a critic. i will post more reviews but this place was excellent . the food was absolutely gorgeous !!! the service was excellent and the staff were so bloody clean and they were all wearing clean uniforms which wernt even discoloured . they all had a smile on their face , i had to wait about 5-10 minutes to get served but the shop was so nice with lots of photos and information on the wall it did not feel like it was that long. food was great again !! i had cod and chips and he had plaice and chips both very very nice, peas were nice and mushy not wet and soggy. i reccomend to any fish and chip enthusiast to visit this place

Visitor from scotland
When i was visiting my family in nuneaton i visited petes chippery on croft road. I thought i would not find a good fish and chip shop down south because i am a great believer that all things great are scottish. The one down side they have down there is that they dont do haggis. The food was brilliant all 7 of us had haddock and chips and they were all piping hot when we got back and they tasted really good , i thought it would be hard to find a good fish and chip shop that does haddock. Also they get top marks because the man in there told me his haddock that week was from aberdeen (not too far from home!!)

Wednesday night
To all fish and chip fans. I found this fish and chip shop really nice. I suffer from a gluten intolerance you see and when i went in and spoke to the manager and i mentioned that i had gluten and wheat intolerance he knew what i was talking about and he gave me a few options including fish without batter & fish with batter (gluten & wheat free), i have heard of this product but no one does it never mind know what my condition is. Over all the food was really nice , not only was it still really hot and but utterly gorgeous to eat. Any sufferes like me know where to go for good service and excellent quality food. petes chippery
This is no standard fish and chips shop. They pay so much attention to every detail. The food was absolutely excellent , the service was a 9 , but the decor was very effective. I reccomend this place to everyone. They have another shop too and they run a charity. I have never seen this before in a fish and chip shop. Truly awesome.

Very Suprised
I visited Petes Chippery on Bank Holiday Monday. I had 4 Large Cod & Chips and the price was reasonable. The food was very tasty i work in a restaurant so i know that the food they served was really fresh.the cod was really thick and chunky just like it should be and i wanted to wait for it so it would be fresh. would like to recomend to all MR A Kahn

To all long distance communters i travel hundreds of miles per week and i stumbled upon petes chippery in nuneaton. Great food , it must have been the best kebab i have had in a long time. Really enjoyed it cut fresh and made for me there and then it took a little longer than 5 minuts but it was definately worth the wait. Over all i had a great conversation with the staff and a great tasting kebab. So next time your in nuneaton on business make a little time to eat at petes

the best food ever
i have been there a few times they are a expanding family business but the main thing is the quality and quantity of selection , i had a excellent kebab and the choices were massive, chicken tikka , mediterranian chicken , also lamb kebab and all the salad and not just any sauce all the sauces possible , mint yoghurt, mayo, garlic mayo ,everything. . . and my wife had a fish and chips and it was the best and largest i have had in a long time . also the staff are friendly , they give a lot of proceeds to charity and the shop looks modern. try it, it's worth it
