In my opinion this is the best Chinese takeaway in Sunderland. The crispy chicken in hot sauce is beautiful.

I have tried and tested alot of chinese takeaways even in stoke on trent and Dudley, but by a mile Ming Garden has top marks for Service, Food Quality and value for money, I highly recommend them, and their lunch time specials are a bargain with beef and green peppers and black bean sauce and fried rice being my favourite. YUM YUM

pleasant suprise
i recently ordered a take away from the ming garden which is a chinese and is situated at the middle of blind lane. i ordered over the phone and went to collect it about 30 minutes later. the staff were very helpful and polite. when i collected the food it was reasonably priced and the place was nipping clean. which is nice to see. the food was great value for money and specials are displayed on the leaflet which was put in the bag. i will be visiting this take away again as it is a rare find to have a nice chinese takeaway on your door step.

Plastic cartons
The cartons that hold the meal are plastic and you can smell/taste it! Chicken texture is just not right. My advice is do not use this takeaway. Sorry but i am being as honest as can be.
