Unfriendly and manipulative

Terrible.The waitresses tried to charge myself and a friend for food despite only sitting down for a drink with friends who were eating. They refused to accept that we had not ordered any food and in the end I was forced to ask them to call the police into resolve the conflict.When the policeman told them that they could not charge for a service I had not requested or knowingly agree'd to have they threatened to file a complaint against the police officer and take me to a small claims court… for the grand total of £11.Overall I was left with the sinking feeling that they were merely trying to take advantage of the fact that I was young to manipulate me into paying for something I hadn't asked for. I will most certainly never return to that restaurant - and am most probably banned, but also feel slightly sheepish about the whole area now.
