There are many forms of dampness: Penetrating, Lateral, Rising, Condensation and plumbing leaks and it is vitally important that the correct diagnosis is made and the correct treatment given. Inserting a damp proof course will not resolve penetrating dampness issues and vice versa.

found lots of companies on internet but this one came recommended by a few different sources. The workmen were very tidy and professional and appeared to do a good job . the office staff were great in answering my numerous questions before the work started and after. i was given a written quote beforehand which stated exactly what was being done and the invoice was exactly the same . brilliant service.

I have had 4 companies come out to give a 'free survey's' only Shaws showed me the existing dpc in the property and that it was working. They identified the problem as penetrating dampness and advised me to get builders in to address the problem. Saved me at least £300 . Thanks Shaws.
