Can I mix the flavours of my wedding cake or special occasion cake?

Yes; designed to your specification; each tier of your wedding cake can be a different flavour, fruit or sponge. If your wedding cake is a fruitcake then we will bake them as far in advance as possible depending on when the order is placed. The fruitcake can be fed and matured with brandy. If your wedding cake is sponge then we will bake these the week of the wedding. Please call to arrange a free consultation and to let us know what flavours you are interested in.

What about flowers? I specialise in Sugar flower sprays which are as lifelike as the real thing. Silk flower displays also made to order. Using fresh flowers on a wedding cake looks beautiful but hygiene regulations state that fresh flowers must not touch the cake in any way. Fresh flowers are sprayed with chemicals to keep them fresh and chemicals and even some flowers or leaves, particularly ivy, could poison your guests. However, if you still wish your florist to supply the flowers for the wedding cake I can liaise with them to ensure everything is to your satisfaction. Our traditional or contemporary wedding cake designs, are completely bespoke and focus on intricate craftsmanship. I specialise in wired sugar flowers which can be as lifelike as a bridal bouquet. Every flower, petal, butterfly, bride and groom, or cake topper design is lovingly hand crafted.

Combination choice of Sponge wedding cakes and Rich Fruit Wedding Cakes and you may choose to have all fruit, all sponge, or fruit and sponge cakes of different tiers and different flavour. Cakes can be made to suit most diets including true organic, vegetarian, alcohol free, dairy free, lactose free, or to your specific requirements. Cakes can be stacked, or make a smaller cake ‘stand out' with height by using either cake pillars, separators, or choose to hire from my range of elegant cake stands of 2, 3, 4, 5, and 8 tier stands plus base cake stands of Chrome, Silver, Gold, Pine, including an illuminated fountain, and many others.

Basic prices are details on my web site for every size and shape of cake. However, as every cake is different, the price is established based on how many portions you will need to feed your guests, cake size, shape, flavour and final decoration.
