Westminster Recliners is a family run business, making high quality, custom built rise and recliner chairs and adjustable beds.
This charlatan of a company has conned my mother for nearly four thousand pounds. She called after seeing the ad in whats on tv, and asked for a catalog, it would seem that they have ran out, BUT they do have a salesman in your area in a few days! Off the pigs come, bringing in a whole chair, colour samples, foam samples, the whole shebang, then after a couple of hours, the prices will be discussed! As my mother only wanted one chair, she could have it at a wonderful half price, so originally it was going to cost EIGHT THOUSAND POUNDS! He told my mother he would take a deposit of 20% and got her to sign the contract , he then wrote down all my mothers bank card details, and proceeded to get authorisation from their office in Suffolk. bish bash bosh, done 2.5 hours later. Then i go round and look at what she has brought, firstly the deposit was not a 20% it was £2000 Also they made her sign a "7 day waiver" to opt out of the "cooling off" period, so she couldnt cancel as they were "rushing" her order, yet they dont even make them, they get another company to do it! The father and son team have had so many companies, and gone to court so many times, but they keep bouncing back under a new name, but same ethics. Trading standards are on the case, and the refund was due to take 5 days, its now 5 weeks! Mother has got so upset by it all, and wasnt getting anything to eat or drink, she needed to go into hospital for a week. Looking into the past court cases, and the damage they have done to people, they deserve less respect than a peadophile

This company has just conned my in-laws into paying a small fortune for two chairs that they could have bought at a fraction of the cost less than a mile from where they live. The law wasn't broken but they certainly knew how to exploit older persons vulnerability. Read Suffolk Trading Standards Court case this year against this company before you buy from them or invite this gang of shysters into your home Previous reviewer is spot on with his comments

This company do not have brochures when you ask for one, but they have a salesman in your area in a few days! you will be made to feel obliged to spend £4000 on one chair, that is half the normal price by the way! you will pay £2000 deposit, and a box will be ticked waiving the distant selling rights. They do not make the furniture, they are total con merchants.
