Avoid! Extra hidden charges and unprofessional service

Avoid these accountants! Extremely bad experience with Jason Fayers and Emma Clifton. I called into the office to ask Emma a few questions regarding their software, She said that would be fine -no mention of a charge. She also said they had a financial advisor who could give me a call for a chat - no mention of a charge. I received a phone call from him and chatted briefly. I was then sent a bill for £570 for extra training and advice! At no point was I told there was a charge for this. I was also told there was a mistake on my previous tax return and I would need to pay them another £360 to fix it. I rang HMRC and was told I could simply write them a letter for free! Finally, even though they had agreed to complete my accounts which ended in May 2018 by the end of January 2019. I had still not received my accounts and then, with no notice, they terminated our agreement, leaving me to pay another accountant to do the work they were supposed to do. Extremely unprofessional service!
