Kiveton & Wales Pre-school Daycare initially started as a Playgroup in the vicarage at Wales in September 1966.
To accommodate the growing number of children waiting for a place the group moved to our present premises in St. Johns Rooms, Wales Road, Kiveton Park, in January 1967.
In September 1999 we were registered with OFSTED and began to receive funding for eligible three year olds. We are members of the Pre-school Learning Alliance and a registered charity.
We are run by a committee of which at least fifty percent are parents of children in our setting. From September 2006 we were registered to accept children aged two to five years for full Daycare.
