Not nice people!!!

I was recently in Turkey looking at property with this company and arrived to be housed in a apartment above there office which was disgusting it stank of cigarettes throughout the property and the bedding was of poor quality and felt unclean also the shower was disgusting. NOT the sort of property I would put in a perspective client whom intends to spend money with them. On the first day I was out looking at property and at first was very happy with the level of service, we were shown a fairly good selection of property but noticed a bias to the properties the company had developed themselves. I made it very clear from the start of my budget and was being shown property above and beyond this threshold. We were taken to a beautiful villa and my wife and I set our hearts on purchasing this if our terms could match with that of the owners. Before we booked our trip we made it clear with there English partners that we intended to do a bit of looking around the area which we intended to do on our own as we had been to the area before and did not want to only see the tourist areas that we believed we would be shown. Also we decided to take full advantage of the winter sun being 25 degrees in mid Feb after leaving the UK at 0 degrees, after all we paid for our own flights. On our last day we were due to go and meet the owners to discuss what we were to do if we were to go ahead with any purchase, the day before when we see the owner I mentioned that I would pop into there office after midday. What a shock when we arrived at about 1:30pm, the owner was very rude and told us that we were not serious buyers and was only there for a free holiday, REALLY first of all If i was there for a free holiday I wouldn't have spent it looking at property, Secondly I would not have wasted £400 on flights and not booked a hotel when they were only about £20 per night with breakfast and Thirdly I certainly wouldn't have stayed in a disgusting apartment. What a JOKE but anyway we were asked to leave there apartment immediately with nowhere to stay and our flight home leaving early the next morning also then having to arrange a taxi for 90 kilometers to the airport for 7am. NICE PEOPLE NOT!!!!!!!! My wife and I was actually ready to purchase the property that was £60,000 above our original budget and we actually bought with us a £5K deposit if we were to find the home we wanted. How wrong could they have been, they just lost out on a villa purchase all because of the rude and impatient attitude of the owner. I personally would not recommend Elite Turkish property to anyone after the treatment my wife and I had endured. Please try to find alternative estate agents whom are not just interested about taking your money and who give you a bit of freedom to explore the area you intend to live in. instead of being stuck in an office being hard sold. STEER CLEAR of these people.
